Konto Furniture was founded in central Alberta in 1976, and operates stores in both the north and south ends of Edmonton. We are a locally owned family based business and are always proud to partner with great organizations that provide support in our community. When we were introduced to the Zebra Centre we were shocked to hear about how many children and youth in our community are affected by abuse and trauma and we wanted to help. In 2020, the Zebra Centre supported 2,844 children and youth who have experienced abuse.
The Zebra Child Protection Centre is our community’s response to child abuse. Their multi-disciplinary team of partners is a herd that provides services and support for children and youth who have experienced abuse.

In Store or Online Order Pick-Up
Pickup of merchandise ordered in store or online is available from our distribution centres in Edmonton, Calgary, and Camrose. Pickup of product from any distribution centre is free. We will contact you when your order is ready for pickup.
Terms of Delivery
Please assist us to make your delivery successful:
• For your protection, we will only deliver if your residence is attended by an adult or person of legal age for the duration of the delivery.
• Please ensure your driveway, walkways, and hallways are clear. (Free from vehicles, ice, mud, bikes, toys, etc.)
• Pre-measure your doorways, entrances, and hallways to ensure your new furniture will fit.
• Please remove existing furniture and ensure the area is ready to receive the delivery of the new furniture.
Online Order Conditions
Upon pick up or delivery of merchandise, we require the cardholder to be present along with the credit card used to make the online purchase, as well as matching photo ID. If the cardholder is not present for pick up or delivery, the merchandise will not be released.
Local Delivery Fees
The following delivery fees apply in the Greater Edmonton and Greater Calgary areas. This includes Edmonton, Leduc, Beaumont, Spruce Grove, Stony Plain, St. Albert, Devon & Sherwood Park, as well as Airdrie, Balzac, Chestermere, Cochrane & Okotoks.
Curbside Delivery Service
Over $1000 = $49
Under $1000 = $99
Any product delivered Curbside will be left in original factory packaging and delivered to the front door or garage of the customer’s residence. Products will not be placed inside the home.
Condominiums & Apartment Buildings:
Any product delivered Curbside will be left in original factory packaging and delivered to the front door of the building or to the loading area (if the building has one). Products will not be brought into the building, or to the door of the condo or apartment.

In-Home Delivery Service
Over $10000 = Free
Under $10000 = $179
Any product scheduled for an In-Home Delivery will be opened and inspected in our warehouse, recovered in a plastic wrap, and protected with blankets during the delivery. Upon arrival at the customer’s home, condo, apartment, or business, the delivery team will bring the product in and assemble it in the customer’s desired room. All garbage and packaging will be removed when the delivery is completed.
Please note, delivery teams will NOT move, rearrange, or take away pre-existing furniture or décor for liability reasons. Delivery teams are limited to handling only products on the Bill of Sale being delivered that day.
Any product delivered and set up In-Home in which a customer cancels and would like to have picked up and returned is subject to a $99 pick up fee and restocking fee. Please see Return Policy for additional details.
Rural & Out of Town Deliveries
Any rural or out of town deliveries are subject to different delivery fees than specified above. Please contact us at email@example.com for delivery options and pricing.
We are unable to provide shipping or delivery anywhere outside of Alberta.
Deposits on Incoming Merchandise
A deposit equivalent to 50% of the value of the merchandise purchased is required to reserve items or to place a special order. Deposits (excluding special order deposits) are refundable without any fees or charges at any time prior to delivery or pick up provided the merchandise has not been stored in excess of 60 days. Deposits on merchandise held in storage in excess of 60 days are non-refundable. Deposits will only be refunded to the same credit or debit card used to make the purchase. Deposits made by cash will be refunded by cheque and mailed to the person who paid for the order.
Custom Order Deposit and Return Conditions
Deposits on Custom Order items are non-refundable. Custom ordered items are ordered specifically for you, and as such, cannot be exchanged, refunded or canceled.
General Merchandise Return Conditions
Merchandise purchased from stock may be returned for a full refund within 10 days of receipt of goods if in original factory wrap in “new” condition. Unpacked or opened merchandise is subject to a 25% restocking fee and may only be returned provided the products are undamaged within 10 days of receipt of goods. Goods not returned within 10 days are considered final sale and are non-returnable.
Bedding and Mattresses Return Conditions
Due to sanitary reasons, bedding accessories such as linens, pillows, mattress pads, etc., are non-returnable and are considered final sale.
Mattresses returns will only be accepted if mattress is returned unopened in original factory wrap within 10 days of receipt of goods. Opened mattresses are non-returnable and are considered final sale. Special order mattresses are non-returnable.
“As-Is” and “Final Sale” Items
All items marked “AS-IS” or “FINAL SALE” are accepted as is, and are non-returnable.
Delivery and Fees
Any fee that has been charged for a delivery that has been completed is non-refundable.
Restocking Fees and Conditions
Local Curbside Pick Up Fees
Merchandise returns requiring a curbside pick up are subject to a $99 fee. Restocking fees will also apply to the merchandise if the product is no longer in original factory wrap in “new” condition.
Local In-Home Pick Up Fees
Merchandise returns for goods previously delivered and set up in the home are subject to a $99 fee. Restocking fees of 25% will also apply.
Rural Curbside Pick Up Fees
Merchandise returns requiring a curbside pick up are subject to a fee. Refer to Rural Delivery Fee chart for applicable fee. Restocking fees will also apply to the merchandise if the product is no longer in original factory wrap in “new” condition.
Rural In-Home Pick Up Fees
Merchandise returns for goods previously delivered and set up in the home are subject to a fee. Refer to Rural Delivery Fee chart for applicable fee. Restocking fees of 25% will also apply.
