In Store or Online Order Pick-Up

Pickup of merchandise ordered in store or online is available from our distribution centres in Edmonton, Calgary, and Camrose. Pickup of product from any distribution centre is free. We will contact you when your order is ready for pickup.

Online Order Conditions

Upon pick up or delivery of merchandise, we require the cardholder to be present along with the credit card used to make the online purchase, as well as matching photo ID. If the cardholder is not present for pick up or delivery, the merchandise will not be released.

Local Delivery Fees

The following delivery fees apply in the Greater Edmonton and Greater Calgary areas. This includes Edmonton, Leduc, Beaumont, Spruce Grove, Stony Plain, St. Albert, Devon & Sherwood Park, as well as Airdrie, Balzac, Chestermere, Cochrane & Okotoks.

Merchandise will be removed from the manufacturer’s packaging and fully inspected prior to delivery. Your furniture will be set up in your room of choice, legs attached, felt pads installed if required, electronic components connected/tested, and all packaging will be removed. Please note, delivery teams will NOT move, rearrange, or take away pre-existing furniture or décor for liability reasons. Delivery teams are limited to handling only products on the Bill of Sale being delivered that day.

Merchandise purchased from stock that has been picked up or delivered may be returned within 48 hours of pick up or delivery, subject to a 25% re-stocking fee, or we will offer a one-time re-selection with no fees. Goods not returned within 48 hours are considered final sale and are non-returnable.

Terms of Delivery

Please assist us to make your delivery successful:

  • For your protection, we will only deliver if your residence is attended by a person of legal age for the duration of the delivery.
  • Ensure your driveway, walkways, and hallways are clear (from vehicles, snow/ice, mud, bikes, construction material, etc.).
  • In some situations, your purchase may be a tight fit. If our delivery team deems your home a tight fit, you will be supplied with a separate waiver to authorize our team to attempt delivery. By signing that waiver, you will approve our attempt to bring your furniture into the desired room and, therefore, release all liability in case of any damage to your product and property.
  • Please remove existing furniture and ensure the area is ready to receive the delivery of the new furniture.

Any product delivered and set up In-Home in which a customer cancels and would like to have picked up and returned is subject to a $99 pick up fee and restocking fee. Please see Return Policy for additional details.

Rural & Out of Town Deliveries

Any rural or out of town deliveries are subject to different delivery fees than specified above. Please contact us at info@nordicholdings.ca for delivery options and pricing.

We are unable to provide shipping or delivery anywhere outside of Alberta.

Delivery Refunds

Any fee that has been charged for a delivery that has been attempted is considered a final sale and is non-refundable.

The following warranties are given to the original purchaser of Konto Furniture products. Warranties are non-transferable.

All merchandise carries a minimum 1-year manufacturer warranty to protect your purchase against manufacturer defects. The warranty does not cover transportation costs, wear and tear, misuse, or accidental damage by the consumer. We will always attempt to first repair vs replace the product. All clearance products are sold “as is” without a manufacturer’s warranty. No repairs, returns, re-selections, or exchanges of clearance products are possible.

AS-IS and FINAL SALE items

All items marked “AS-IS” or “FINAL SALE” are accepted in as-is condition with no warranty (unless otherwise stated) and are not returnable under any circumstances.

Mattress Warranty

Your purchase is covered by a manufacturer’s limited warranty. Please read the warranty material with your product. Should you have a warranty issue, contact Konto Furniture’s Client Care Department. Note: Stains and/or inadequate bed frame or foundation will void your warranty.

Mattresses Exchanges and Returns

If within 60 days of receiving your new mattress you are not completely satisfied with the comfort, you can do a one-time exchange towards another mattress of equal or greater value.

Simply sleep on your mattress for at least 30 days to ensure that it settles properly and your body has the time to adjust to the feel of your new mattress.

To take advantage of the 60-day Sleep Comfort Guarantee, new mattresses must be purchased in conjunction with a mattress protector from Konto Furniture. Mattresses purchased without a mattress protector are not covered by the Mattress Comfort Guarantee and will be considered final sale items. Mattress protectors & pillows cannot be returned or exchanged. All mattress protectors & pillows purchased are final sale items.

Stained, damaged, clearance, and special order products are not covered by the 60-day Sleep Comfort Guarantee.

On all mattresses, the manufacturer’s law label must remain intact and sewn into its original position to qualify for any exchange.

Delivery fees are non-refundable and any additional exchange or pick-ups are subject to a second delivery fee.

A complimentary heavy-duty mattress bag will be provided for any mattress return or exchange. Due to health and sanitary reasons, it will be the client’s responsibility to use the provided mattress bag to seal up their old mattress prior to the delivery team’s arrival. The Delivery Teams will not take back any mattresses that have visible stains or bed bugs.

Deposits and Refunds

A deposit equivalent to 50% of the value of the merchandise purchased is required to place a Custom Order. Stocked items require 100% payment in full to reserve merchandise. Deposits will only be refunded to the same credit or debit card used to make the purchase. Deposits made by cash will be refunded on the debit card of the person who paid cash for the order, and if that person is not present, the deposit will be refunded by cheque and mailed to the person who paid cash for the order.

Deposits on Custom Order items are non-refundable.

“As-Is” and “Final Sale” Items

All items marked “AS-IS” or “FINAL SALE” are accepted as is, and are non-returnable.

Custom Orders Conditions

Custom-ordered items are ordered specifically for you and cannot be exchanged, refunded or cancelled. All efforts are made to ensure your merchandise arrives within the estimated time period. However, since these “ETA’s” are based on industry averages, there will not be any compensation (monetary or otherwise) for unforeseen delays. Differences in dye lots, leather variations, and wood grain will happen in certain instances and are deemed normal in fine furniture.

Shop confidently; we stand behind our pricing philosophy, which means you always get the best price, guaranteed. If within 60 days of your purchase you see identical merchandise at a lower published price by an authorized Canadian dealer in the same local trading area under the same terms and conditions, Sofa Land will gladly credit you the difference upon verification of the details. Excludes clearance, AS-IS and discontinued products.
